Exam Candidate Handbook 2026/27
Each year we produce an exam candidate handbook for students taking exams. This provides information on the exam rules and regulation and how exams are run at Hampton College.

Exam dates for Summer 2027
The main summer exam season will run from 10 May until 18 June 2027. This window is when the bulk of written exams will be held, including GCSEs, A Levels and vocational exams.
PLEASE NOTE: there will be other exams held before this window, such as practical exams in drama, food, language speaking exams. Teachers will inform students directly with dates for these assessments.
Timetables for written exams being held at Hampton College in Summer 2027 will be shared later in the academic year:
Full exam timetables are available now on exam board websites. Students will receive their own individual timetables from College before the Easter holidays.
A contingency session has been designated by the exam boards in the event of national or significant local disruption to exams. This contingency day is 23 June 2027. Students should be available up to and including this date, in the rare event exams need to be rescheduled.

Exam Results - Summer 2027
Exam results days are as follows:
A Level Results Day: Thursday 12 August 2027
GCSE Results Day: Thursday 19 August 2027
Students and parents will be contacted with details of results days late in the summer term.
Members of teaching staff will be available on both days to give advice and support to anyone who has any queries relating to their results, as well as to provide advice for students about next steps.
Examination Certificates
Summer 2026 examination certificates will be available to collect at Presentation Evening in December 2026. Invites to this event will be sent in the autumn term.If you are unable to attend Presentation Evening to collect your certificates, you will be able to collect them from the College in January 2027.
If you sat your exams before 2026 and have not collected your certificates, they might still be available to collect - please contact certificates@hamptoncollege.org.uk to find out.
If you have lost your certificates, you will need to contact the exam awarding bodies directly for replacements and will have to pay for this service.
