Welcome to the Parent's section of the Hampton College website. We hope that you will find everything that you need here or in School Information.

Reporting a Student Absence

Click here to inform us if your child is going to be absent from school.

Please note that for safeguarding reasons, absenses must be reported every day that your child is not attending school.

Absences can be reported either by clicking the link above or by calling the absence line on 01733 246820 and selecting OPTION 1 to report a student absence. Please leave your child's name, tutor group and a brief message with a reason for their absence.

It is also important to remember that if your child is attending an appointment, please advise us that they will be leaving school early and send a copy of any appointment card of letter you may have to support this absence.

Please note that absences from school that are not due to an exceptional circumstance will not be authorised and the local authority may take legal proceedings against you for your failure to comply with the law.

Parents can access information on your child's progress through on-line reporting - see Online Reporting to Parents below. You can access the secure area of the Parents' section of website by clicking on this link to the Parents' Gateway

Online Reporting to Parents

My Child at School allows parents/carers to have secure online access to data about their child at any time. The information provided includes your child’s:

  • timetable
  • attendance figures and details
  • behaviour events, both positive and negative
  • reports section for documents such as Grade Cards.

Home page of the website click on:

  • Hampton Gateway button on the right hand side of the screen
  • Parents
  • Online reporting
  • 'Bromcom' the red square

Enter the school ID, username and password that has been provided to you by email and click on ‘Login’.

If you have not received login details please email OnlineReporting@hamptoncollege.org.uk, stating your name and your child's name and year.
