This week has been young carers week and this year has been all about building a community.
On Wednesday we held an event for Carers Week, the theme was "building carer friendly communities".
The Young Carers from the local Hampton schools came together to build their Carer friendly communities. This event allowed the local Young Carers to meet each other and raised awareness.
Mel from Caring Together supported us with the event bringing snacks of fruit and yoghurt which the Young Carers enjoyed.
On Thursday Waterhouse Manor Care Home hosted a event for our young carers, students got to design their own football shirt with the winner being chosen by resident Jean. The students had a great time getting creative.
