9 January 2017
The Year 9 Parents’/Carers’ Consultation Evening will take place on Thursday 26 January 2017 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. This evening will provide you with an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress in Year 9, following the first grade card in December 2016 and also to look ahead towards the options process a little later in the term. The Year 9 Options Evening will take place on Tuesday 31 January from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
This year, we will be operating an online booking system, which allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and receive an email confirming your appointments. You will also be able to amend and print your appointment schedule.
You can book an appointment with your child’s class teacher online via Parentmail. Once logged in, a list will appear – click on ‘Parents Evening’ and click on the link that will appear. You then need to click on ‘View/Book Appointments’. Your child’s subject teachers will appear. You will then be able to click on the green ‘Book’ button to choose a time. Continue booking appointments until you have finished. When you have booked an appointment, click on the ‘Back’ button to return to your list of appointment options.
Appointments can be made from Monday 9th January and will close on Sunday 22nd January. You can continue to view and print your appointment schedule at any time after this closing date. If you wish to make any changes after this time, please contact the school office.
If you would like to register for Parentmail access, please email your child’s name, tutor group and date of birth and your name to email@example.com and we will arrange for a registration email to be sent to you. If you have previously registered for Parentmail and cannot remember your password, please click on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link on the website.
If you do not have access to the internet, please contact the school office, where they will be happy to add appointments on your behalf.
If you have any questions about the options process, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Greenwood or another member of the Senior Leadership Team.
