The Y9&10 athletics teams had a great day out at the Peterborough Athletics track competing against 16 schools at the City Athletics Championships. It was a very hot day which is not ideal for some of the events. Hampton College students put on a great show of resilience, competitiveness and teamwork and tried their best throughout the day. Some students qualified for the finals in their track events going head-to-head with top athletes from across the Peterborough Schools. Hampton College had their best set of results so far with the Y10 Girls coming in 2nd, the Y9 boys and Y9 girls coming in 3rd and the Y10 boys narrowly coming in 4th place. We are very proud of their achievements!
