Teachmeet - Tuesday 3 November

14 December 2015

On Tuesday 3 November Hampton College held its second Teachmeet, hosted and organised by Miss Ericha Knowles (Head of Humanities). The evening was for teachers to present ideas that have had a positive impact in their own classrooms to their peers; grass roots CPD done for teachers by teachers.

Presentations included: Marking/Feedback, Revision Approaches and tasks for the More Able. Assessing without levels, Personalisation and resources to support in the Science Curriculum.

The event was supported by Bloomsbury Books who provided some raffle prizes as well as a signed copy of Ross McGill’s (most followed UK teacher on Twitter) latest book. Twinkl resources, Superstickers and the Argo Lounge in Peterborough City Centre also donated prizes.

The Feedback so far has been Outstanding and we would like to thank Miss Knowles for her excellent organisational skills.

Miss Knowles: “I truly believe teachmeets are brilliant opportunities for likeminded professionals to meet, support each other and share ideas.”
