Mental Health Week 2024

Mental Health Week 2024

15 May 2024

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. This year the Mental Health foundation are focusing on movement and how regular movement can help protect our mental health.

Our bodies and our minds are connected, so looking after ourselves physically can help us prevent problems with our mental health. Exercise releases "feel good" hormones which can also reduce feelings of stress and anger.

With exam season upon us it is really important for our students who are taking A-levels, GCSEs or mock exams in these coming months to ensure they are keeping active between revision sessions as well as drinking plenty of water and eating well.

More information around Mental Health Awareness Week can be found on the Mental Health Foundation website.
