On Friday 24th May 30 students from year 7 and 8 were chosen to be part of a Dragons Den PE workshop lead by Living Sport.
The workshop was based on the Dragons Den programme, it centres around youth voice and provides a platform for students to create and implement their own extra-curricular PE club within Hampton College. If successful, we would receive £1000 of funding to ensure that the activity is equipped, well-advertised and supervised by a member of staff or external coach.
The winning team is yet to be announced, but keep an eye out for posters promoting the new club soon. All the students enjoyed thinking of which sport would be the most diverse, popular and exciting for their club. They also did a fantastic job pitching their ideas and taking tough questions from the panel of judges!
