The College uses a service called Parentmail® which enables us to send letters and messages direct to parents/carers by email and text message.
This service is already being used by more than a thousand schools around the UK and we believe that it helps with our communications with you. You may already be aware that sending written information home can sometimes be rather ‘hit and miss’ or end up in the bottom of school bags! We hope that by using this service it means that you receive information from the school in a more reliable and efficient manner.
The College is also an Eco-School and we are increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the amount of paper that we use and hope to continue to reduce this in future.
In order to use Parentmail® we need to collect parent/carer email addresses and mobile telephone numbers and would ask you to register by completing the Parentmail Form. Please be assured the Parentmail® service is registered with the Data Protection Registrar and guarantees that all information supplied will be kept completely private. There is also NO advertising associated with the scheme.
IMPORTANT – Our school messages will be sent from the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure that you add this address to your email address book (or approved sender list) in order to prevent messages being blocked by your SPAM/JUNK filters. Please also check your JUNK/SPAM folder regularly in case messages go there. Text messages will come through as 'Hampton Col'
