Year 11 UCAS Progress

Year 11 UCAS Progress

All applications for post 16 education or apprenticeships must now be completed via a website called UCAS Progress.

All year 11 students have already spent an hour in school registering with the programme and completing their profiles and further time will be provided in lessons after Christmas to complete this but students should be working on the process at home or on the school computers in their free time.

Students should log in to www.ucasprogress.com, using the password recorded in their planner, where they can then search all Post 16 options available within Peterborough, the surrounding area or nationally saving any information about the courses and providers they are interested in into their files.

Before any applications can be made students must have completed all four sections of the profile

  • Personal details

  • Predicted grades for the Summer examinations

  • Details of their work shadowing placement and/or any part-time jobs they have

  • A personal statement

  • Parents/carers can help students to complete these various sections at home.

Different sixth form institutions will have their own closing dates for applications and these can be found on the UCAS website.

The attached guides will help with the various stages of the process.
