New, free, open access, supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing service for young people in Peterborough aged 13-25 years.

New, free, open access, supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing service for young people in Peterborough aged 13-25 years.

HERE: NOW Peterborough

At Here: Now young people don’t need an appointment, they can just turn up and chat about how they are feeling. They can access a variety of workshops and activities that help promote their mental health from advice and information, one to one counselling, Mindfulness sessions, Group-work and therapy.

Cambridgeshire County Council’s Early Help Services and Peterborough City Council are working alongside Centre 33 to create safe, friendly, accessible, and confidential spaces which offer health-related services, education and support for young people in Huntingdon and Peterborough aged between 13 and 25.

The three organisations are working together to promote the long-term prevention of health problems, to raise young people’s awareness and resilience and to enable them to make informed choices about their health and well-being.

Through the HERE: NOW project young people will access advice, information and services to support with emotional health and wellbeing in a trusted and safe space.

If you have not heard of Centre 33, this is because we are new to Peterborough but have been providing support to young people in Cambridgeshire for over 30 years. Our website will tell you more about us, should you wish to have a look. http://www.centre33.org.uk/

The Peterborough service is based upstairs at Peterborough Central Library and is open every Friday 2-5pm. You can find more information here https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/residents/youth-services/here-now-confidential-advice-service/
