In Year 12 and 13 students have the opportunity to complete a BTEC Diploma which studies an array of different units throughout the two years of study therefore allowing students access to a range of different business topics. This is a new course for 2017 due to changes from the examination board.
The BTEC qualification is coursework based with one external examination in Personal Finance in addition to two controlled elements where a pre-release is used for students to complete an assignment under controlled conditions. These include Unit 2: Developing a Marketing Campaign and Unit 6 Principals of Management.

Unit 27: Work Experience in Business ‘TBC’
This course provides students an excellent portfolio of skills ranging from ICT, presentation, communication and problem solving which are invaluable in the business world. It is the equivalent of 2 GCE A-Level’s. Students are able to capitalise on numerous skills which are invaluable in their future careers
